DID YOU KNOW?

Our DARK TAN ARCHIVAL BOARD is the grade specified by the Library of Congress. Its unique combination of sturdiness and hard finish create the look and durability that satisfies the highest level of Archivists.

WHEN IS TAN NOT CERTIFIED ARCHIVAL TAN?

CERTIFIED ARCHIVAL TAN boards are made from only 100% pure high-alpha cellulose which means they are always lignin-free and acid free. The Tan shade is pigment added into the paper after it has been purified. Brown or "Natural Kraft" papers contain high quantities of lignin and are usually acidic and can be harmful to artifacts and artworks.
